Job Description:
The Business Analyst will drive data-driven insights to support product strategy, profitability analysis, and performance reporting across business units.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Analyze profitability, revenue, and cost drivers to support business decisions
- Build dashboards and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting
- Partner with product owners to translate business needs into data insights
- Write SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to support analytics initiatives
- Lead core analytics efforts across multiple product lines
- Identify data needs and proactively source information to answer business questions
Requirements:
Must-Haves:- 5–10 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of profitability, revenue, and cost analysis
- Recent Advanced SQL skills (writing queries, pulling and analyzing data)
- Ability to create and solve basic mathematical models for business problems
- Strong communication skills with ability to present to non-technical audiences
- Experience translating data into actionable insights and storytelling
- Proven ownership mindset and ability to drive results autonomously
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with Tableau and/or Alteryx
- Experience working in highly matrixed organizations
- Exposure to predictive analytics and partnering with data science teams
