Job Description:
The Business Systems Analyst will bridge business needs and technical solutions, with a focus on evaluating, onboarding, and managing vendors supporting the client's business technology ecosystem.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Own the technical vendor lifecycle from intake and evaluation through onboarding, performance management, and renewal/offboarding

Partner with Procurement on RFPs, vendor evaluation criteria, negotiations, SLAs, and contract terms
-
Collaborate with Security teams on third-party risk assessments, security questionnaires, and compliance reviews
-
Coordinate cross-functional efforts between business stakeholders, Procurement, Security, and vendors
-
Drive delivery of technical initiatives from requirements through implementation

Configure and customize business systems including workflows, permissions, and integrations
-
Document system configurations, vendor inventories, technical specs, and process flows

Support knowledge management initiatives to maintain system and vendor documentation

Analyze business processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities

Translate technical and contractual concepts into clear language for business stakeholders

Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing
-
Provide ongoing system support, training, and documentation for end users

Monitor vendor SLAs, performance metrics, and system usage to support renewal decisions

Ensure business systems integrate effectively with other enterprise platforms

Must-Haves:

5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Vendor Manager, or similar role
-
Hands-on experience managing the full vendor lifecycle (evaluation, onboarding, implementation, and renewal)

Experience working with or adjacent to security organizations or security-related programs
-
Experience partnering with Procurement and/or Security on vendor selection and third-party risk review
-
Ability to review and work with contract terms including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and DPAs
-
Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
-
Experience configuring or customizing enterprise business systems
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams
-
Strong analytical, process improvement, and problem-solving skills

Experience with third-party risk management or vendor security review programs

Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or data privacy standards

Experience with procurement or vendor management tools (sourcing platforms, CLM systems, vendor intake systems)

Experience with API integrations or iPaaS platforms

SQL or database knowledge

Experience with enterprise business systems in large organizations

Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies
