Job Description:
Day to Day:
Own the planning and coordination of migrating 92 QuickBooks instances and 92 RSO field service instances into Acumatica across 100 franchise locations. Work closely with the technical BSA who is doing the hands-on API and integration builds — you're directing the work, reviewing decisions for business impact, and making sure data flows correctly between RSO and Acumatica. Set and enforce data governance standards across the organization including item masters, naming conventions, and data classification. Manage and develop a green team of 3-4 direct reports and 2 contractors. Be the person who holds the line when the business wants to cut corners on data standards.
Requirements:Must Haves:
- 8 years in business systems, ERP, or enterprise applications
- Hands-on ERP migration experience — has owned moving data from a legacy system into a new ERP
- QuickBooks experience — understands QB data structure and how to extract and clean data out of it
- Franchise or multi-location environment — has dealt with the complexity of multiple entities that are all slightly different
- Data governance and master data management — has set standards, enforced them, and pushed back on the business to protect data integrity
- Functional understanding of system integrations — comfortable reviewing integration decisions, understanding data flow between systems, and directing technical resources without being the one writing the code
- People leadership — has managed a team before and knows how to develop junior or early-career employees
- Confident and assertive — will push back on department heads and senior stakeholders when data standards are at stake
- Acumatica experience (will train the right person)
- Field service management platform experience — RSO or similar
- Has specifically migrated from QuickBooks to a full ERP
- Franchise model experience with multi-entity system complexity
