Job Description:
Hands-on architect role responsible for designing complex enterprise wired and wireless networks across multiple locations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Lead design of wired and wireless network infrastructure (Layer 3 routing, BGP, EIGRP)

Create and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation
-
Collaborate with engineers to implement network solutions

Interface with business and technical stakeholders
-
Use tools like Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Client, Ekahau, NetFlow, and diagramming tools (Visio/LucidChart)

Occasionally, travel to other locations as needed
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

10 years in enterprise network design
-
Proven experience leading full-cycle network architecture projects

Deep technical knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, and wireless network design
-
Experience using Cisco tools (Catalyst Center, Client), Ekahau, NetFlow, etc.

Strong documentation and visualization skills
-
Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Comfortable in high-pressure environments (e.g., live events, finance, military, etc.)

Experience in complex, multi-geo environments

Exposure to disaster recovery or tactical network deployments

Familiarity with Libra NMS
