Job Description:
The client is seeking an Office Operations Manager to serve as the primary onsite resource for their Austin office, acting as the face of the workplace experience and a key culture carrier for approximately 45 employees.
Job Summary
•Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for employees, guests, and service vendors, ensuring smooth and welcoming daily office operations
•Manage food and beverage programs, including pantry stocking, vendor coordination, and overall office upkeep
•Coordinate with building management, facilities partners, and landlords on maintenance, space planning, and operational needs
•Manage office logistics including parking assignments and onboarding and offboarding support
•Partner with Executive Assistants, HR Business Partners, and Employee Resource Groups to plan and execute events, trainings, leadership visits, and employee engagement initiatives
•Act as a local culture ambassador, providing recommendations on Austin-specific programming and events that resonate with employees
•Utilize internal tools and AI resources to streamline workflows and administrative tasks
Minimum Requirements:
•2 years of experience in office management, workplace operations, facilities coordination, executive support, or employee experience
•Experience supporting day-to-day operations in a professional corporate office environment
•Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar)
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage vendors, facilities requests, and competing priorities independently
•Demonstrated experience coordinating events, meetings, trainings, and employee engagement activities
•Comfort learning and utilizing new technology and AI tools
Preferred Qualifications:
•Prior experience supporting technology or high-growth startup environments
•Experience with Asana or similar project management platforms
•Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar
•Experience partnering with HR, People Operations, or Employee Experience teams
•Knowledge of the Austin market including local vendors, events, and community opportunities
•Experience building or contributing to employee engagement programs or culture initiatives
