Job Description:
Seeking a hands-on QA Lead to drive software quality initiatives, improve automation maturity, and lead testing strategy across software and hardware-focused products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead daily QA testing efforts across software, hardware, and integrated device testing
- Develop and execute manual and automated testing strategies
- Build and improve automated testing frameworks using Selenium
- Perform load and performance testing using JMeter and related plugins
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and QA documentation
- Troubleshoot application and device-related issues through logs and browser tools
- Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Partner with engineering and business teams to improve product quality
- Mentor QA team members and establish testing standards and best practices
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and tooling
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium automation testing
- Experience creating automated tests and frameworks from scratch
- Experience with load/performance testing tools such as JMeter
- Ability to build test plans, test cases, and testing strategies independently
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience reviewing browser console logs and application logs
- Comfortable configuring and testing hardware/devices
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience mentoring or leading QA initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with C#
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Exposure to QA metrics and process improvement initiatives
- Previous leadership or team coaching experience
