Job Description:
This role serves as a frontline HR support specialist responsible for triaging and resolving a high volume of associate inquiries across payroll, benefits, and general HR services while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and service quality in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary
Manage inbound HR inquiries via phone (8am-4pm EST), ServiceNow intake queues, email, and in-person visits, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
Triage and resolve daily cases covering payroll questions, benefits inquiries, employment verification, and general HR requests
Apply policy knowledge and internal resources to deliver accurate responses, routing and escalating complex issues to the appropriate HR team with supporting documentation
Execute payroll-related processes including timecard updates, new hire payroll setup validation, employment verifications, and system support in ADP and Workday
Conduct payroll audits and data reconciliation activities, including reviewing timecards, validating accruals, identifying discrepancies, and tracking resolution of delayed or missing transactions
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and executives to ensure efficient case resolution and clear communication
Balance multiple intake channels and competing priorities while maintaining consistent service quality
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
3-4 years of customer service or support experience, preferably in an HR or shared services environment
1-2 years of payroll operations experience, including timekeeping, payroll processing support, new hire setup validation, and employee payroll inquiries
Experience performing payroll audits and reconciliations, including timecard review, payroll data validation, discrepancy identification, and compliance tracking
Experience handling confidential information with discretion, including exposure to compliance or regulatory processes
Demonstrated experience leading projects or serving in a shift lead or team lead capacity
Proficiency with Workday (transactions), HRIS systems, ServiceNow, ADP, and Microsoft Office Suite
