Job Description:
Lead and elevate QA practices by driving automation, load testing, and scalable testing strategies across software and hardware products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead QA testing across software, hardware, and device-based products
- Develop and execute manual and automated test strategies
- Build and enhance automation frameworks and QA tooling
- Perform load and performance testing (e.g., JMeter)
- Create and maintain test plans, cases, and documentation
- Conduct root-cause analysis and drive defect resolution
- Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders on quality improvements
- Mentor QA team members and provide technical leadership
- Establish QA standards, processes, and best practices
- Support testing of physical devices (installation, configuration, validation)
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 4 years of QA experience
- Strong experience with Selenium (test automation)
- Experience creating test plans and test cases from scratch
- Hands-on experience with load testing tools (JMeter preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot web applications (browser dev tools, logs, etc.)
- Experience reviewing system/application logs (e.g., event viewer)
- Comfortable working with hardware/devices (setup, configuration)
- Strong documentation skills
- Proven problem-solving ability and initiative
- Experience mentoring or leading QA efforts
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with C#
- Background in automation framework development
- Experience improving QA processes and standards
- Agile environment experience
