Stephanie Wernick Barker, Mondo’s first female president, has been named an honoree on the coveted Global Power 150 “Women in Staffing” List by Staffing Industry Analysts, SIA for three consecutive years in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
After spending 4+ years within the consulting and technology sectors problem solving and innovating business processes, Stephanie found her home at Mondo, formerly known as Bluewolf, in 2012.
Since then, Stephanie has held every type of position at Mondo, starting as an Account Director in Philadelphia. Soon after, she followed a swift trajectory from Regional Territory Manager to Vice President of Sales, Chief Revenue Officer, and then to her current role as Mondo President after successfully implementing key, people-first initiatives that focus on building relationships rather than simply completing transactions.
As President of Mondo, Stephanie leads all business operations and is responsible for sales and recruiting efforts for the company’s 10 nationwide offices. Stephanie has been monumental in raising the caliber and potential of Mondo’s talent to continue to scale upward and has positioned the company for continued rapid growth.
Stephanie spearheaded the implementation of Mondo’s core values—Mindset, Attitude & Action, and People, Process, Passion (MAP)—which have been crucial in strengthening the company culture and aligning it with strategic goals. As a result, she has been honored with various accolades including being an honoree on the coveted 2024 Global Power 150 “Women in Staffing” List by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), and the unanimous nomination by her internal team for Stevie® Awards “Female Thought Leader of the Year”, and “Female Executive of the Year Mondo”, and the agency itself a finalist for “Women-Run Workplace of the Year”.
As a Philadelphia local who attended Penn State (WE ARE!), Steph prides herself on embodying the grit and determination her home city holds. You can find her getting lost in nature, hiking, running, and spending time with her family when she’s not inspiring her Mondo team to reach their full potential.
