Compensation Range: $65 - $90/hr
Job Description:
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting embedded medical device software in a regulated environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Architect and build CI/CD pipelines for embedded firmware (C/C ) development
-
Create reproducible build environments (cloud and/or on-prem)
-
Manage artifact repositories using Nexus or JFrog
-
Lead DevOps tool migration efforts (GitLab, Jenkins)
-
Implement build automation, versioning, and controlled release processes
-
Support embedded development teams with pipeline integration
-
Develop automation scripts using C, Python, and Bash
-
Establish logging, monitoring, and infrastructure management solutions
-
Troubleshoot build and deployment issues; conduct root cause analysis

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

5 years of DevOps experience
-
Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch
-
DevOps experience in a regulated environment (medical device strongly preferred)

Strong scripting in C, Python, and Bash
-
Experience supporting embedded systems (firmware in C/C )

Artifact management experience (Nexus or JFrog)

Infrastructure management experience

Logging and monitoring implementation experience

Strong OS-level experience (Linux, QNX, or other Unix-like systems)

Experience with Jenkins and/or GitLab
