Job Description:
This role supports the client's small and medium business clients onsite as a primary IT point of contact, delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support with a high standard of professionalism and white-glove customer service.
Job Summary
•Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and user issues across diverse client environments.
•Install, configure, and support systems across Google Workspace, macOS, and Windows environments.
•Administer and manage common business applications and basic IT infrastructure within client environments.
•Maintain strong attention to detail throughout onboarding, offboarding, and laptop provisioning processes.
•Support basic networking and cybersecurity troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, VPN, and access issues.
•Build out, manage, and support conference room AV setups, including prepping rooms, testing equipment, setting up meetings, and resolving onsite AV issues.
•Travel between client sites in South San Francisco as required (personal vehicle required, mileage reimbursement provided).
Minimum Requirements:
•5 years of experience in Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support environments.
•Proficiency supporting macOS environments, with hands-on Google Workspace administration experience.
•Experience with Okta identity management and basic networking concepts.
•Strong AV experience, including conference room technology, meeting prep, and equipment setup.
•Demonstrated ability to deliver polished, white-glove customer service with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Reliable personal vehicle for travel to client sites (mileage reimbursement provided).
Preferred Qualifications:
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 in addition to Google Workspace.
•Exposure to basic cloud infrastructure or security concepts.
•Background supporting small to mid-sized organizations (approximately 500 users) across a mix of industries.
•Experience in a retail tech support or Apple Store environment strongly preferred.
