Job Description:
Lead quality assurance efforts within a manufacturing environment, driving process improvements, ensuring product quality, and managing quality teams to enhance operational performance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors across multiple shifts

Oversee quality processes for a key manufacturing product line
-
Spend time on the shop floor identifying process improvements and quality gaps
-
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, production, and leadership teams
-
Analyze quality metrics (KPIs, PPM, COPQ) to drive improvements
-
Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001
-
Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives using quality tools
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase yield and customer satisfaction

Support inspection processes, documentation, and productivity enhancements

Contribute to departmental budgeting and operational strategy
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

12 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment

5 years of direct leadership experience managing teams
-
Strong background in machining and fabrication
-
Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001
-
Proven experience with quality metrics (PPM, COPQ, KPIs)

Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
-
Experience with statistical data analysis and process improvement
-
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change

Strong communication skills across shop floor and executive stakeholders
Bachelors degree required
