Compensation Range: $70-75/hr
Job Description:
Lead the design, deployment, and operation of a Customer Master Data Management (MDM) platform, ensuring high-quality, trusted golden records across enterprise systems.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design and evolve Customer MDM solutions aligned to enterprise architecture
- Define entity models, hierarchies, match/merge rules, and survivorship logic
- Configure and administer MDM platform, including workflows, jobs, and integrations
- Monitor daily MDM operations, resolve incidents, and manage defects
- Establish SLAs for data quality, latency, and platform reliability
- Oversee onboarding of new data sources and domain enhancements
- Partner with governance and stewardship teams on data quality workflows
- Lead integration development (APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines) and data publishing
- Optimize performance of matching and processing logic
- Mentor and lead a small team of engineers and analysts
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 6–10 years of experience in MDM, data engineering, or data platform operations
- Hands-on experience with Customer MDM solution design and operations
- Experience with Profisee or similar MDM platforms
- Strong understanding of entity modeling, match/merge logic, and survivorship rules
- Experience leading small technical teams and managing operational workloads
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, insurance)
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake)
- Knowledge of data privacy concepts (PII, consent, retention)
- Experience collaborating with Data Governance and Security teams
- Exposure to Agile or product-based delivery models
