Job Description:
Lead discovery and product development for AI-powered search and workflow solutions within a professional research platform, driving greenfield innovation and iterative product delivery.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Lead discovery and research initiatives around search and content discovery tools

Conduct customer interviews, user research sessions, and SME feedback panels
-
Define OKRs and execute two-week "build measure learn iteration cycles
-
Prioritize product opportunities and define clear requirements for engineering teams

Guide development of conversational search, traditional search, and AI-driven discovery experiences

Align cross-functional teams across engineering, UX, content, and strategy
-
Contribute to documentation and early requirements for future BA handoff

Support integration of enhanced search/discovery capabilities into a modernized research platform
Requirements:

Must-Haves:
-
7 years of product management experience, including greenfield/new product development
-
Strong experience implementing and operating within an OKR framework
-
Deep understanding of search mechanisms, taxonomy, indexing, and content discovery systems

Exposure to AI concepts, including conversational search, chatbot experiences, prompt validation, and GenAI workflows (no coding required)

Experience working in research, scholarly publishing, medical, clinical, or life sciences environments

Strong customer discovery mindset and experience running research panels/interviews

Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving processes

Systems-level thinking across UX, backend integrations, and workflow design
