Job Description:
An experienced EDI-focused engineer responsible for leading integration efforts between logistics systems, trading partners, and internal platforms.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Lead onboarding of EDI trading partners including requirements gathering, mapping, testing, and go-live

Design and maintain EDI mappings for X12 transaction sets (204, 210, 214, 990, 997)

Act as primary point of contact for EDI-related issues and partner communication

Troubleshoot EDI errors, integration failures, and data discrepancies
-
Collaborate with TMS, WMS, and ERP teams for seamless integrations

Support ticket resolution and provide timely fixes for integration issues

Contribute to documentation including mapping guides and SOPs

Assist in evaluating and improving EDI tools, platforms, and processes
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

3–5 years of EDI experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments

Strong experience with X12/ANSI EDI standards and transaction sets

Hands-on experience with TMS platforms and logistics workflows

Strong understanding of transportation and supply chain operations

Experience troubleshooting integrations and working with external partners

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with EDI platforms such as Cleo, MuleSoft, IBM Sterling, or similar

Familiarity with AS2, SFTP, or FTP communication protocols

Exposure to APIs or PHP development

Experience with Jira or IT service management tools
