Job Description:
The client is seeking an onsite IT Support Technician to serve as boots-on-the-ground technical support across manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, and office environments at one of three site locations.
Job Summary
Support desktops, laptops, tablets, rugged mobile devices, and industrial hardware across office, lab, manufacturing, and warehouse environments.
Troubleshoot production-floor PCs, HMIs, thin clients, scanners, label printers, and handheld terminals.
Assist with wired, wireless, and industrial Wi-Fi connectivity issues, including basic network troubleshooting.
Support end users with Office 365, Teams, and collaboration tools, including common login and peripheral issues.
Maintain asset inventory and coordinate procurement activities across multiple environments.
Coordinate with OT teams and escalate plant-floor issues to remote or site IT leadership as appropriate.
Follow all manufacturing and warehouse safety and PPE protocols while providing cross-site support as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
2-5 years of hands-on IT support experience in an end-user or field support capacity.
Proficiency supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
Experience troubleshooting printers, scanners, and mobile or rugged devices (including Android and tablets).
Familiarity with ticketing systems and structured troubleshooting methodologies.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting IT in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
Experience with industrial networking equipment, including basic switch and wireless access point troubleshooting.
Strong organizational and documentation skills with ability to coordinate site-level IT activities.
