Annual Base Salary Range: $145k - $200k

Job Description:
Own and transform the client's lifecycle marketing and email automation strategy, leveraging customer data, segmentation, and personalized campaigns to improve conversion, retention, customer lifetime value, and measurable revenue growth.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Own the email marketing platform and develop a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy

Assess the existing Cordial platform, customer data, and marketing workflows to identify improvement opportunities

Rebuild and optimize the email marketing program while maintaining existing campaigns
-
Develop customer journeys across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation
-
Identify funnel gaps, stalled leads, and customer drop-off points to uncover revenue opportunities
-
Build and execute targeted email campaigns using segmentation, personalization, and automation
-
Develop a strategic roadmap connecting lifecycle marketing initiatives to business objectives

Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize messaging, timing, engagement, and conversion

Analyze campaign performance, customer retention, lifetime value, and revenue impact

Partner with IT to define data requirements, APIs, integrations, and platform enhancements

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and executive leadership to align business priorities

Evaluate existing marketing technology and recommend platform improvements or alternatives
-
Coordinate contractor support while independently owning strategy and execution

Establish lifecycle marketing processes, reporting, and performance measurement

Build the foundation for a scalable lifecycle marketing function with potential future team growth
Minimum Requirements:
-
10+ years of lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or growth marketing experience
-
Proven experience developing lifecycle strategies that drive measurable revenue, retention, and customer engagement
-
Deep hands-on email marketing expertise, including segmentation, automation, customer journeys, testing, and optimization
-
Experience owning and operating enterprise marketing automation platforms such as Cordial, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, or similar

Demonstrated experience implementing, rebuilding, or significantly optimizing a marketing automation platform

Ability to independently configure, launch, and optimize campaigns within a marketing automation platform

Strong business acumen and ability to identify missed revenue opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle

Technical fluency with APIs, data tables, customer data structures, and system integrations
-
Experience defining marketing data requirements and collaborating with IT on technical integrations
-
Strong analytical skills, including funnel analysis, conversion optimization, retention metrics, and customer lifetime value

Experience measuring and communicating marketing performance and revenue impact
-
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to influence Sales, Marketing, IT, and senior leadership

High emotional intelligence and strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Independent, hands-on leader comfortable owning strategy and execution without direct reports

Ability to work onsite in Virginia Beach, VA or Irving, TX
