Job Description:
This role supports the client's information technology procurement function by managing software and hardware categories, driving supplier negotiations, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize IT spend on a global scale.
Job Summary
•Manage software and hardware procurement categories, including contract review, negotiation, and renewals
•Conduct utilization analysis and spend management activities to identify cost optimization opportunities
•Lead supplier negotiations and facilitate RFP processes to secure favorable terms for the organization
•Partner with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Risk, Security, Privacy, and Project Management, to align procurement activities with business requirements
•Translate business requirements into sourcing strategies and category management plans
•Support and maintain supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance standards are met
Minimum Requirements:
•3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management
•Demonstrated experience managing software and/or hardware procurement categories
•Strong background in supplier negotiations, RFPs, and spend management
•Experience reviewing and negotiating software contracts
•Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of leadership
