Job Description:
Seeking a product-minded Software Engineer to build and scale internal tools that empower cross-functional teams, operating across full-stack development and infrastructure.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and ship full-stack features across backend, frontend, and infrastructure
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows and identify impactful solutions
- Build scalable internal tools for finance, legal, and other business functions
- Translate user needs into reusable systems, platforms, or abstractions
- Own product decisions and iterate quickly based on feedback
- Continuously improve user experience through rapid iteration
- Learn and adopt new technologies as needed
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 6 years of experience building production software (ideally full-stack)
- Ability to independently take products from idea to deployment
- Strong systems thinking and ability to abstract patterns
- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environments, preferably startups that have scaled successfully
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Product-oriented mindset with ownership of outcomes, not just code
- Proficiency in at least some of the following: Python, TypeScript, React
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience building internal tools or platforms
- Background as a founder or early-stage startup engineer
- Experience creating systems used by non-technical users
- Exposure to finance, legal, or internal business workflows
