Job Description:
- Lead marketplace strategy and performance for key clients, with a primary focus on Amazon and retail media.
- Oversee large-scale advertising programs and develop strategies to drive revenue, growth, and efficiency.
- Manage and optimize Amazon Search and DSP campaigns across complex, multi-SKU portfolios.
- Manage significant advertising budgets and ensure spend is aligned with business and performance goals.
- Analyze marketplace performance and connect metrics such as TACoS and revenue to broader business outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted client advisor, presenting performance insights, identifying challenges, and recommending strategies for improvement.
- Lead client meetings and confidently communicate complex marketplace data to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop marketplace strategists, including reviewing work and providing quality assurance.
- 7+ years of experience in marketplace, e-commerce, retail media, or digital advertising, with significant Amazon experience.
- Deep expertise in Amazon Ads, particularly Amazon Search and Amazon DSP.
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of the Amazon Ads Console and the ability to independently navigate and optimize campaigns.
- Proven experience managing $600K+ in monthly advertising budgets.
- Experience managing advertising programs across 20–30+ SKUs or similarly complex product portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize campaigns, and drive product-level efficiency.
- Strong understanding of TACoS (Total Advertising Cost of Sales) and its relationship to revenue and profitability.
- Experience connecting advertising performance to top-line revenue and broader business outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience presenting performance and strategic recommendations directly to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring, reviewing, and developing junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pacvue and/or Stackline, particularly for market share analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Experience with Criteo or other retail media networks.
- Experience managing advertising across Walmart, Target, Costco, Best Buy, or other major retail platforms.
- Experience working with premium or higher-priced products, ideally products with average selling prices in the $80–$300+ range.
- Experience managing multi-channel commerce or retail media strategies.
- Strong understanding of marketplace operations, product efficiency, and retail media measurement.
