Compensation Range: $39/hr – $44/hr W2
Job Description:
The IT Financial Analyst supports the client's IT finance team by managing vendor financials, purchase orders, and spend tracking across large-scale IT initiatives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Manage financial operations for IT projects and vendor engagements
-
Set up and track purchase orders (CapEx vs. OpEx; software vs. resources)

Monitor invoices and ensure timely payment in coordination with Accounts Payable
-
Track expenses and projections within ERP systems (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft)
-
Run financial reports and perform variance analysis for the general ledger
-
Support accruals, reconciliations, and basic GAAP accounting activities
-
Manipulate and analyze data in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting)

Create summary reports and presentation materials for leadership

Partner with internal IT teams and third-party vendors to ensure accurate spend tracking
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

4–6 years of experience supporting IT financial operations

Direct experience working with IT vendors, SOWs, contracts, and purchase orders

Hands-on ERP experience (Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite, etc.)

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation)

Experience tracking expenses, forecasts, accruals, and reconciliations

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment

Strong attention to detail and communication skills
