Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced PR Consultant to provide specialized public relations and communications support for a B2B technology account within the restaurant technology industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B technology PR, established relationships with relevant media outlets and trade publications, and experience managing client-facing communications. This individual should be confident, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted PR and media relations initiatives for a B2B restaurant technology account.
- Leverage existing relationships with technology, business, and industry-specific trade publications to secure relevant media opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for media coverage, thought leadership, and brand visibility.
- Develop compelling pitches, press materials, and messaging tailored to B2B technology audiences.
- Collaborate with internal account teams and client stakeholders to align PR initiatives with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry media contacts.
- Provide strategic PR recommendations and communicate campaign progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support executive-level communications and client-facing PR initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or strategic communications.
- Strong B2B technology PR experience, ideally within restaurant technology, hospitality technology, or a related industry.
- Established media relationships within B2B technology or relevant trade publications.
- Demonstrated experience developing media pitches, securing coverage, and executing targeted PR initiatives.
- Experience supporting B2B clients and communicating directly with senior stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and provide strategic recommendations with minimal oversight.
- Confident, personable, and collaborative approach to client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting restaurant technology or hospitality technology clients.
- Background working within a PR agency or consulting environment.
- Experience developing thought leadership campaigns and executive communications.
- Familiarity with niche B2B industries and specialized trade media.
