Job Description:
This role is responsible for coordinating and executing hands-on facilities maintenance operations, ensuring critical building systems remain reliable, safe, and compliant across a high-demand industrial environment.
Job Summary
Coordinate daily maintenance activities, work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and on-call emergency response.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC, chillers, process chilled water, air handling units, RO water, Client, and associated electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Monitor Client alarms and environmental controls, including temperature and humidity, using Client EBI, Carrier i-Vu, or similar platforms.
Manage work orders, maintenance plans, inspections, and equipment records in MaintainX.
Guide maintenance staff and oversee contractors, service providers, and facility projects, including scheduling, permits, inspections, and safety compliance.
Partner with the HSE team to maintain safe operations and support continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of experience in industrial or facilities maintenance; high school diploma or GED required.
Demonstrated knowledge of building systems including chillers, HVAC, Client, and VFDs.
Working understanding of 110V, 240V, three-phase power, and power distribution from service entrance through switchgear, panels, and breakers.
In-depth knowledge of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and VESTA.
Ability to troubleshoot building systems and create or update MOPs, SOWs, and SOPs for equipment setup, servicing, and decommissioning.
Strong communication skills with experience guiding maintenance teams and managing contractors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with UPS systems and their operational purpose.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
Experience with Smartsheets, or willingness to learn quickly.
Ability to pivot and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
