Job Description:
The Social Analyst will measure and optimize organic social media performance across multiple brands, transforming social data into actionable insights, executive-ready reports, and recommendations that drive audience growth and content effectiveness.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Build and deliver monthly organic social performance reports across multiple brands and channels.

Calculate Cultural Impact (CI) scores using discovery, audience growth, and engagement metrics.
-
Produce rapid-turnaround flash reports within 48 hours, 72 hours, or one week for launches, product reveals, and major cultural moments.

Analyze social comments, sentiment trends, and audience engagement using AI-assisted tools.

Conduct competitor benchmarking, industry research, and share-of-voice analysis.

Present findings to stakeholders and recommend content formats, posting cadence, and audience growth strategies.

Maintain Boolean queries, taxonomy, filters, and data quality within social listening platforms.

Identify data anomalies, monitor algorithm changes, and ensure reporting accuracy.

Build and maintain reporting templates, dashboards, and automated workflows using PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools.

Review a junior analyst's work and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including earned media, issues management, creator engagement, and editorial.

Must-Haves:

3–5 years of experience in social media analytics, digital research, or communications measurement.

Advanced proficiency with enterprise social listening and analytics platforms such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Cision, or StatSocial.

Experience building, validating, and maintaining Boolean search queries, filters, and categorization tags.
-
Hands-on experience with native social analytics tools, including Meta Business Suite, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube Studio.

Advanced Excel skills, including nested functions, pivot tables, lookups, and data cleaning.
-
Advanced PowerPoint skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, executive-ready presentations.

Proven ability to independently manage recurring reporting cycles from intake through final delivery.

Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to explain metrics to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work autonomously, take direction, proactively identify opportunities, and deliver client-ready reporting.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
