Job Description:
This role supports a physician-led personal brand by managing end-to-end social media content creation, editing, and publishing to grow an engaged audience across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
Job Summary
•Review existing videos, posts, and content to identify and repurpose material into fresh social posts across all platforms
•Write reel scripts, hooks, and captions in the client's established voice, smart, conversational, funny, and accessible to a general audience
•Edit approximately 6 reels per week, adding title cards, cropping footage, and verifying caption accuracy before publishing
•Schedule and publish content through Metricool across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, tailoring copy and formatting for each platform
•Create carousels approximately every other week and prepare content for Stories, ensuring variety in content format
•Coordinate with the director of marketing and sales on the content calendar, upcoming topics, and approval workflow
•Proofread all posts and verify video formatting, captions, and scheduling details prior to publishing
•Pitch fresh content ideas tied to current events, social trends, and topics relevant to the client's audience
Minimum Requirements:
•Demonstrated ability to write engaging hooks, reel scripts, captions, and carousel copy that makes complex topics accessible to a general audience
•Hands-on experience personally writing, editing, scheduling, and publishing short-form social content at volume
•Basic short-form video editing skills, including adding title cards, cropping footage, and generating accurate captions
•Instagram expertise including Reels, Stories, and platform-specific best practices, with ability to adapt content for TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to manage a 10-15 hour per week workload independently and meet deadlines
•Experience capturing and writing in the voice of a founder, creator, or personality-led brand
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with Metricool or similar scheduling and cross-posting tools
•Portfolio featuring social copy, short-form video, and examples of humor or personality in educational content
•Experience in a social media or content agency, in-house social team, or freelance role supporting founders or personality-led brands
•Familiarity with AI tools for content repurposing and streamlining scriptwriting workflows
•Carousel design skills and experience with Canva or similar design tools
•Experience writing for healthcare, wellness, or medical clients, particularly in a personality-driven or physician-led context
•Ability to monitor social performance data and use insights to refine hooks, topics, and content formats
